Presentation of the feasibility study for building of biomass boiler house in Dnipropetrovsk

Seminar-meeting “Presentation of the feasibility study of building a biomass boiler-house in Dnipropetrovsk” was held on December 9, 2015 in Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport. Seminar was held within the project “Promotion of Natural Gas Substitution with Biomass in Heat Energy Production”.

Three experts from REA presented the results of evaluation of theoretical solid biomass potential available in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as the results of the feasibility study for conversion of a university boiler-house on biomass.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the municipality and heat generating companies of the city, representatives of the banking sector, representatives of business and industrial companies, academic and university teaching staff, researchers and students. The total number of participants – 41 people (excluding students) and about 40 students majoring in energy efficiency and energy management.
